Run for the Fallen, Inc is a not for profit charity that operates the Fallen Heroes of Georgia road race. We then donate the race proceeds to several very deserving charities that were created in memory of a Fallen Georgia Soldier. Please keep in mind that NO MEMBER of our organization is paid for their time or efforts. This is done to further insure that the maximum amount of the monies raised can then benefit the charities listed below.

Beneficiaries of our efforts:

* Evan Marshall Memorial: In honor of Army Cpl Evan A. Marshall. The Evan Andrew Marshall Memorial Scholarship Fund is a non-profit corporation that provides educational scholarships for the children of American servicemen and women who are casualties of the war in Iraq, so that these children can meet their full potential and build a better life for themselves. · Mike Stokely Foundation: In honor of Army Sgt Mike Stokely. The Foundation was formed to allow those who wished to show their appreciation for Mike's sacrifice and support for his family through donating to help kids in need have books and kids to go to college. Since then the Foundation goals have expanded through the various programs, including the Yusufiyah Project to help the poor kids where Sgt Mike Stokely served and was killed to have school supplies and partnered with Atlanta based Chick-fil-A to raise money to assist the family of seriously wounded soldier in Afghanistan http://www.mikestokely.com/

· Fallen Family Foundation: In honor of Marine Lance Cpl Jeffrey D. Walker, Our mission is to identify and meet the immediate needs of the family members of the fallen servicemen and women of the Armed Forces of the United States of America. Military loss places difficult burdens both emotionally and financially on the family members that are left behind . You cannot replace the loss of life of these fallen heroes but we can honor the sacrifice of these Fallen Heroes by providing for their families in their time of grief and remember the price these heroes paid for OUR freedom. · The Matthew Freeman Project: In honor of Marine Captain Matthew Freeman, The Matthew Freeman Project: Pens & Paper for Peace is a not-for-profit charitable organization dedicated to collecting pens, paper, and other school supplies in cities and towns across the United States and sending them to U.S. military personnel for distribution in Afghanistan, Iraq, and other war-torn countries where children's education has been interrupted by armed conflict. http://www.freemanproject.org/

· Joshua Reeves Scholarship Fund: In honor of Army Joshua Reeves of Watkinsville. This public charity provides scholarships for siblings of Georgia’s Fallen Soldiers, and families of Georgia’s Wounded Warriors. They also provide grants and scholarships to local Athens/Clark County students involved in activities that Joshua enjoyed, as well as to the Boy Scouts of America (Eagle Scout Project), band students, history students, ROTC, and books for schools.
